Toyo Microsystems Corporation (TMC), a supplier of ARCNET devices, boards, and software in Japan, was established as a joint venture company of Standard Microsystems Corporation (SMSC) and Sumitomo Metal Industry Ltd. in 1986. TMC has been providing products of SMSC, and also has been developing its original products with the technology of SMSC.
